Infrastructure and Facilities

Department of Computer Engineering is well equipped with 01 HOD room, 06 no. of Faculty rooms, 02 no. of Lecture Halls , 01 Smart Class-room and 06 no. of Computer Labs and a Departmental Library brimming with all kinds of reference material and books.

LECTURE HALL

The Lecture Hall is spacious, well-lit and ventilated enough and well furnished with a seating capacity of more than 60 students. Green boards have been put up in all the rooms along with sufficient no.of tubelights and fans. The Lecture Hall, serve as platform for encouraging creativity and increasing awareness among the students. Class rooms are also designed to facilitate the conduct of student's seminar and group discussions

SMART CLASS ROOM

Computer Engineering department has a smart class-room which helps students in following ways:

DETAILS OF COMPUTER ENGINEERING LABS

Cloud Computing /Python Lab (Computer Lab-1)

The Lab is well equipped with Internet Facility and it has a seating capacity of 30 students at a time .As per the curriculum and latest trends, the lab is formed to provide our students knowledge of cloud computing and Python Language which are widely used in Industry by Computer Professionals . As the subjects taught in this lab are as per market requirements, so it help the students in Project work and for further placements too.

Data Structure /Programming in C(Computer Lab-2)

The Lab is well equipped with Internet Facility and with a seating capacity of 30 students at a time. This Lab has been formed to provide the basic knowledge of Programming Language for making a concrete base for each Computer Student. The main emphasis is always put on the Practical based applications to help our students more confident conceptually and professionally.

DBMS/CN(Computer Lab-3)

The Lab is well equipped with Internet Facility and with a seating capacity of 30 students at a time. This Lab has been formed to provide the knowledge of Database Management System and Networking of Computer systems. It helps in enhancing students in the field of database analysis and gets expertise thoroughly in Network arena which is a vast field and has a very wide scope

PROJECT LAB (Computer Lab-4)

This Lab is well equipped with Internet Facility and with a seating capacity of 60 students at atime.In three year Diploma, the Project which is to be done in final semester as per curriculum is the essence of the knowledge gain by students. The Project made by students help them to explore the knowledge gain during three years of study and further, it help them to be well placed in Industry right after Diploma.

OOPS/PHP (Computer Lab-5)

This Lab is well equipped with Internet Facility and with a seating capacity of 60 students at a time. This Lab is formed to learn Object Oriented Programming Language and PHP which is a server scripting language, and a powerful tool for making dynamic and interactive Web pages.This will make our students capable of handling with the latest market trends.

IT & IOT(Computer Lab-6)

This Lab is well equipped with Internet Facility and with a seating capacity of 60 students at a time. This Lab is specifically formed for first year students. For making solid base of our students in understanding the concepts, best efforts are employed to provide easy and simple methods of learning and gaining knowledge.

ACTIVITIES PERFOMED BY STUDENTS

BEST OUT OF WASTE ACTIVITY

Getting the best out of waste is the most important way one can contribute to the environment. Materials that are popularly used for best out of waste projects are newspapers, cords, and threads, buttons, candy sticks, recycled bulbs, plastic bottles, any old furniture that can be revamped, the list is endless.

SLOGAN WRITING COMPETITION ON EARTH DAY

Slogan (also known as a tagline) is a catchy phrase or a few words arranged in a specific way to describe. A perfect slogan is drawn by one of our student in online slogan making competition on the occasion of earth day during lockdown.

SUMMER TRAINING/INTERNSHIP DONE BY STUDENTS

Our 3year diploma curriculum includes summer training/internship after completion of 2nd year exams .In this training students get hands on experience on various technologies, learn new software and online paradigm.

SHORT TERM JAPANESE LANGUAGE COURSE

Department of Technical Education took initiative to run short term Japanese course for the welfare of students to increase the proficiency for the placement in Japanese companies or in companies which are having collaboration with Japanese companies. Tenure of course was from 26.12.2019 to 16.03.2020.Students of Computer Engineering actively attended and completed the course.
